The Santee-Lakeside Rotary Club
is very proud to report that our foundation fund has grown to over
$235,000 through the generosity of donors like you. Each dollar you
donate is an investment in the kids and the future of your
community:
Rotary Scholars Program
Selected freshman at El Capitan, Santana and West Hills High Schools
sign a contract with
us. If they stay in school and earn their diploma, we send them
to college on a two-year
scholarship.
Rotary Youth Leadership Academy
Selected juniors at El Capitan, Santana and West Hills High Schools
join student leaders
from all over Southern California for a fun and intense weekend
of leadership training.
Third Grade Dictionaries
Every third grader in Santee and Lakeside receives their own dictionary
with which to
develop their reading and writing abilities.
Rotary Grove
As the Santee-Lakeside community grows, so will the trees in
Rotary Grove, a gift from club members to the community, adjacent to
the West Hills High School campus.
Santee Boys & Girls Club
We proudly donated funds towards the construction of the new Santee
Boys & Girl Club.
Growing the principal of our fund is fundamental to the ongoing
success of these
programs and the kids they help. Your generosity makes our academic
opportunities possible for the kids in this community. A gift of any size makes
a real difference, and all
gifts to the foundation are tax deductible.
Rotary Roadhouse is our Fundraiser Event Of The Year for 2008,
and it promises to be an
extraordinary, memorable evening under the stars that includes dinner
and drinks courtesy of The Original Roadhouse Grill, casino action
courtesy of Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino, and a kickin'
concert and dance with two live bands. Please, join us for the evening.
